I like when they just get out of the Shrieking Shack, it6 is action packed and is awesome in the movie when lupin turns into a werewolf!

My favorite part was Professor Lupin teaching his class how to handle boggarts.

I liked the part when you realized Lupin wasn't a badguy after all...

One constant theme is that the Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers are all short-timers, if not downright villians. Dumbledore could make Hogwarts safer if he just discontinued the class altogether. There must be a reason he wants to provide a place for n'er do wells.

In any event, I didn't trust Lupin on the train because I didn't believe he was really sleeping. Then when the dementors came around, I thought it strange that they didn't go for Lupin. Surely an adult would have more unhappy memories than a child. When Harry ate the chocolate and didn't turn into a blue toad or anything, I figured maybe Lupin was okay.

That lasted until Lupin took Harry's map away from him. Then I wondered again. At the end, when he was leaving Hogwarts, I was sorry to see him go.

Hm. It didn't surprise me when the dementor's went for Harry, but that's because he's special.

I was wondering though. There's a lot of people out there who are crazy over Lupin, right (myself included). But how many decided he was positively awesome AFTER they realized he was a werewolf? Me. Wierd, huh?

My favorite part is when Prof. Lupin jumped in front of Harry after the Boggart

turned into the dementor, so that the dementor wouldn't attack Harry. As well I

think that it was a little weird how Prof. Lupin Boggart turned into the moon,

considering that you think his darkest fear is to hurt one of his best friends.

Hiya Hogmeads: I thought that having Lupin's boggart turn into a full moon made great sense. He's a man who fears the full moon and it comes around every month. He is never free. For him the full moon means painful, crazed nights, waking up in a strange places, naked and bleeding wondering what or who he might have killed. It means being always longely, not for fear of being discovered, but because he might make friends, only to hunt them down when he turns into a werewolf. Being a werewolf is "...a cursed life. A half life" but in Lupin's case, not a life that HE chose.

Yeah, poor Lupin. Getting bitten as a small child. What his parents must've gone through as well, dealing with nosy neighbors and stupid teachers, ahh! It'd make my blood boil if it was a true story!

my favorite part was when they have the quidditch final... but it does make sense that it turns into a moon for lupin. he never said that his greatest fear was hurting his friends, he just said it was a great fear. i don't know what my boggart would turn into. what would you guy's boggarts turn into? i don't think mine can do it... it's an action!
