Help!

I am trying to find out what the letter to the dursley's said in book one..any help would be appreciated!

It was the letter that Harry would have got saying he had been accepted at Hogwarts!

Not that letter. The first one when Harry was a baby!

Does ANYONE out there HAVE the first book and can look it up and tell me if the actual letter written to the Dursley's in the there?

i have the first book. i'll brb. *whistle* no. it doesn't say what the letter said.

It probably explain what happened and that now the Durley's have to take care of Harry now!

and in the 5th book it says he told the dursleys about how harries parents die, and that at their house he is protected from voldemort.

I am sure it explained in detail what happened and that they had a choice if they take the child he will be protected and hidden away from the magic world but if you refuse him then he most certainly die a very horrible death, the choice is up to you. Not even the Dursley can wish death on a baby.

I wonder if Petunia was sad when she found out that her sister was in fact dead.was she sad, and turned her sadness into hatred, does she put on a face inorder to please her husband, I wonder what her storie is.
