Do your remember that on the day that Voldemort was defeated, Owls were seen all over the place? Well I was wondering why.

I think the obvious reason is that Wizards are talking to other wizards about what happened, and everyone is just sending owls at any old time. But, don't people normally send owls at any old time? I mean, when they pay for the newspaper they send there owl in the morning, Percy who is far away sends his letter at night, (wouldn't it take a while to get there? So he would have sent it around dinner time.) and Harry sends a letter to Sirius early day. Why aren't owls seen then? They are delivering letters too, and at the same time of day.

I was just wondering why. What do you think is the reason?

I'm thinking that the wizards were telling their owls to get there as fast as they could, and so the owls just went in plain sight of muggles, but I don't know.
