I just started reading the first book again this week, and suddenly remembered about somebody saying in a post that Harry could be an metamorphmagus, and one of the signs was that he regrew his hair during the night when aunt Petunia cut it. But I was thinking, and it looks more that somebody was watching at him, keeping a close eye in him (and probably fixing things) so he wouldn't get in trouble. Well, what do you think?

Good thinking but I don't reckon he's a metamorphmagus nor do I think someone was watching over him. I think his hair just regrew because he's a wizard. Remember in the first book Harry said to Hagrid that there must be a mistake about him being a wizard and Hagrid said something like, "Never made things happen when you're upset or angry?" I think that's all it was. He was upset about how he'd be teased with his hair like that, so since he's a wizard, it grew back.

that is right Hagrid tells him that people can do things befor they are tought to do them. Harry is later told that it is much hardre to do things when you want to if you are not trained to do them
