Think how useful the Marauder's Map was. Good thing Fred & George pinched it from Filch. (And great that Remus, James, Sirius, and Peter made that map!)

Yes, it would be great! Keeping up with my kids would ease my mind. Well I don't know, I do have a 14 yr old. I might not let her leave the house if I knew everything. And my sister(best friend) is getting ready to move, it would be good to keep up with her and her family.

The fact that the Map was stolen from Filch's office is pure Fred and George. Without the map so many things wouldn't have been possible.

I would like to say that the Map was one of the most useful items in the series, without it, so much would've been lost, but the thing that stands out in my mind right now is the moral support it gave to Harry in book 7, the fact that it enabled him to see Ginny when he needed it most really stands out to me.

So yes, thank you Fred and George for finding the Map, surely one of your greatest feats of trickery.
