Potterdog: I refer to undesireable dates as toads because toads are very low to the ground and cannot hear me talking. Consequently, I feel safe in saying I will probably never have to apologize to a toad. Pigs I'm not so sure about. I read Animal Farm twice.

Potterdog: Thank you for your inquiry. I have no warts. The reason I have no warts is entirely due to an invention of mine called THE TOAD SPATULA.

I used a spatula once to get a toad out of a pool and it worked. The toad never came back. So I came to the scientific conclusion that toads don't like spatulas. Consequently I carry a spatula with me whenever I think I might be confronted with a toad. I just whip out that spatual and wave it back and forth while yelling, "NO WARTS! NO WARTS!' The toad, in its confusion, usually runs blindly into the night never to be seen again. Patent Pending.

I also don't have fleas.

Hey wanna be: Naw I don't know Fred and George personally. Potterdog believes that I think like them. Why not. They are my heroes. I truly believe that the twins and their uncoventional mind-set will come to Harry's aid with some off the wall joke shop invention that will catch Voldemort and his Death Eaters off-guard and save the day. At least that is what I'm hoping.

So you really like the TOAD SPATULA huh? Excellent. If this project gets off the ground, I will be looking for reps in your area.

It would be nice to think that you could have a choice between the magical and the muggle world. Unfortunately, neither world is perfect because human nature doesn't change. People always want to make rules for others to follow.

true true...but think of how great it would be to just whip out your wand...WHOOSH!

SCENERIO: You're walkin' into the convenient store (UDF for instance)...and then all ofa sudden all CHAOS BREAKS LOSE!! the slurpy machine won't work, there's no one to serve the icecream...the conveniently located ATM is spittin' out money left and right and the coffee machine no longer has coffee, BUT LIMA BEAN JUICE!!

All is well when you whip out the wand...swish and flick, few magic words. TA DA!

but there are the downfalls of all the evil guys gettin' magic too...so maybe we'd all have to go through extensive background checks every year...and get new wands and they'd all have serial numbers so if someone did something super evil (now i'm not talkin' pranks here, cuz what's the fun in that?) they would be caught within 37 seconds....huh huh? yeah....

I have thought about that. I like the Swish Flick Ta Da mentality. But of course that was when I believed that magic would make a person more free. In Harry Potter's world, we see that he is not only bombarded with wizard and muggle evil but with rules, rules, rules--from both worlds. A shocking turn of events for me. I don't think I believe in Santa Claus anymore.
