Snapes love for Lily was unhealthy! What did Joza said once? Not even Petrarca was this thick! Who stays in love with some one dead for 18 years??!

AND he loved NO ONE else!!

But the poet Pertracka was in love in dead women for 20 years of was it longer....We learn that in high school, so I forgot...But it is unhealty to be in love with a dead person....

But there is more keeping this alive than just the love he had for Lily. There is the whole Voldemort and keeping Harry safe and the war and the Order. If things had been different, Snape may have moved on. I don't think it was possible because of the circumstances.

That's true. By helping Harry he was avenging Lily's death and ensuring her death wasnt in vain. Some people only love once in a lifetime, and since Snape knew Lily since childhood, the roots run deep. She also was likely his only real friend.....

Psy, I don't think anything in relation to Severus could truly be called "sweet". He would find it appalling. That doesn't mean it's creepy, or unhealthy. It's obsessive, maybe. But sometimes the light in the dark worth fighting for, as Brownyn suggests, only comes once in a life.
And it's better, certainly, to cling to that fading illusion of that light than to have no light at all.
