Dumbledore never told Snape to pick on Harry. And in a number of occasions Snape was really trying to expel Harry from Hogwarts. Snape detested harry.

Okay,so when Snape made that fake syrum, in the order, it was cause he hated harry badly?
No one would have ever known it was him who made the syrum for umbridge but he still didnt do it.
Anyways, my point is i go through the books and pull out all the good qoutes about snape like the fact that harry named his son after one of the bravest men he ever knew, I just want some one to pull qoutes showing me where they get that snape tourted harry or in any way would have caused his death.

Ok anyone who says Snape was Dumbledore's man is straight up lying, Snape was either his own man or LIly's. Iwould not trust Snape with anything because he only does things for himself. And Harry naming his son Albus Severus only happened because JKR made it happen, in my opinion Harry would still detest Snape, but have respect for him. And my opinion of Snape has sligtly changed, but I still feel basically the same as I did with my first post in this thread.

JKR is the only one who TRULY KNOWS the characters motivation.

if SHE wrote it - then - I would assume she meant Harry to come to a realisation and understanding of the enigma which is Severus snape.

ekin - what I like about you is how strongly you are identifying with Harry as you rally against Snape. it shows how well JKR wrote his character, and the adventures, and the whole thing...

is it possible to put your trust in JKR on this last point? that Snape did some good for Harry, throughout all the years at Hogwarts... even while picking on the students (all of them) Snape still had Harry's back.

At the end of book six I didn't think I would ever forgive Severus. ever. Book seven redeemed him.

I think having Albus Severus was top 3 worst moments in the whole series it was too forced. I mean honestly Harry would not have named his kid that. And when I say because JKR made him that is bad, not good. She forced it.

Sorry but in that opinoin then The whole series happened cause jkr wrote it...Snape is a bastard cause she wanted him to be...she made him seem better cause she wanted him to be...

Snape lied to Voldy everyday and and he tried to save Lilly's life its says in the book that Lilly sacrificed her life even though voldy MIGHT have spared her and Snape could have killed/seriously injured Remus when he was making the wolfsbane potion for him in poa
