So you dont think his intentions change as the last 2 books progress?
Just curious. Lookin for a conversation.

Personally, I do!
Particularly in the last book where his true self was revealed.
However, some think that without pure motive .. (I think they mean selfless self sacrifice ) he could never redeem himself from his past human errors.
I think that's sad.

I don't really like him ...but he did well ...in the end.

I dont hate snape and I believe that as the last 2 books progressed his intentions just kept turning more towards harry. I also do not care that i was for lilly or the fact that he knew it was for the good of everyone to do the things he did.

I do though think alot about him givin harry his memories at the last moment cause i do think he was just purely loyal to dumbledore

P.S.
I also had alot of mixed feelings towards dumbledore in Deathly Hallows. Until that walk when he was with his parents and others did i realize it was all just planned for harrys well being.

I agree with you.
It's the actions that define the man.
On a daily basis he was irritating and condesending to the students ( as I'm sure they were to him) But as part of the bigger picture .... he endured ... a whole life time of (chosen) self-exile ...for one purpose. The saving of Harry.

I am reaaly opinoinated about things like the books v. movies, and intentions of the charecters, and everything. I really held on to every little word in all the books.

I'm mixed up about this !

I think he was loyal to Dumbledore but maybe this was self serving ... to relieve his own conscious... but he gave Harry a gift of "TRUTH". This would have allowed Harry to really move on in his life despite losing every family member and friend who cared about him.

I am not good at prolonged discussions and debate ... I have a very simplistic view of everything Potter ...but the're are other's here ...that will go to 'TOWN' with you ... (just an expression) over any point you choose to raise.

I couldnt hate snape. Its because if they didnt treat harry the way they did and leave him shut out it would have turned out right in the end.
You just hate snape because for so long through harrys eyes all we saw was the bad side of snape.
You cant go on that its just not right.
