I only hate Snape because he basically killed the one he loved.
He loved her so much that he killed her. Just because she loved someone else and was happy he wanted to kill James.
He should have tried his best to understand Lily's happiness. Instead of always fighting with James they should have made up. He should have been happy for Lily's happiness.
