Wannabe: Potterdog has a point. Harry Potter could very well be an allegory. Take away the magic and what you have a classic struggle between good and evil. Voldemort represents evil. Harry represents the good. Aristotle said that to know the good was to do the good. Harry does the good with every fiber of his being. He doesn't know any other way. So you could do worse than to have Harry as a role model.

i agree with you guys reading harry potter has like opende up my mind to things average humans wouldn't even think or dream of. i was not much of a reader and did not believe in magic but when you read those books you just feel that there is a platform 93/4 and there is a bus that you flag down with your wand. and ministry for the magic world. and i've become soooooooooooooo close to the characters when i'm reading i read the end about 100 times just so the book won't end.and if harry dies i swear i will cry just like how i cried for sirius and if his friends die i will surely burst into tears.i think voldemort will die but dumbledore will have to give his life for that. i don't know why but somehow thats there in my mind.do you think he will die?????????????????????????

i say the DA or just ron and mione will somhow be the extra umf harry needs in the end. there loylity and love for harry gives him "the power to vanqish the dark lord" just like his moms love for him did agenst quill... you know the fact that vollys got harrys blood in him (GofF) and volly can tuch harrys mind (OofP) than maby harry can do what big V did to him... you know a trap... with a ierezistabul bate.... say himself!!!
