peter was a strang guy but he got scared and fell into voldemorts clutches and harry pretty much has peters life in his hands if u read my story u will see that i made him chicken out and not kill harry.....crookshanks killed him instead

I think in the end he will redeem himself for giving up James and Lily to Voldemort. He does owe Harry his life. I think he started out good when he got placed in his house but he was swayed by voldy later which I am sure he probably regrets.

While we're talking about Peter,in the third movie, how come when he changes from a rat to a man he has clothes,but when he changes from a man to a rat,he leaves his clothes behind??!

Is it so ludicrous to believe that NOT all Gryffindors are infalliable, that evil and good people are not simply split into Gryffindor and Slytherin?

i agree people can turn evil after they are sorted !!! and turn good after something tragic it is not split!!

I think the sorting hat has to do with potiential-- not what they are. I think that it was Dumbledore that mentioned it. What is really important are the choices we make (I think Harry was concerned about his having so much in common with voldy at the time). Peter made horrible choices-- because of fear mainly, selfish, self serving fear. True courage is what harry has-- a willingness to risk yourself to help others.
