My favorite and saddest Dobby moment was when he rescued Harry & the others from the Malfoy's cellar. He had to be so brave, b/c you know he was so afraid to be in his old master's house.
I was devastated when he died, but I think that's how he'd want to leave this world, helping Harry Potter.........

I love Dobby when he is first introduced in the Chamber of Secrets. The ways he tries to prevent Harry from going back to Hogwarts are crazy but genius as well as a little not thought through.
Also even though he didn't succeed in preventing Harry from going back to Hogwarts the way he stood up to Lucius was sooooo brave and the fact that Harry freed him was AWESOME!!!!!

I'll have to agree with ^, but also say that I loved in book 7, when he saves them all from the Malfoy mansion, even though that place must've been filled with traumatizing memories, and he knowingly and willingly risked and lost his life for the safety of the wizard, and ultimately the human race.

dobby was awesome when he saved them from the malfoys but my favorite was when he helped harry find the room of requirement
