Elves having choices plays a big role in what S.P.E.W. is about. But, its also about getting wizards to re-think how they treat elves. Suppose an elf chooses not to be free. A life of servitude doesnt mean the elf should be treated badly by his/her master.

elves are happy doing work so let them do work. i think that they should be freed if they want it but i doubt u will find anyone who does. dobby was just the first of his bunch. maybe there will be others maybe not
