grin...
his final actions turned the tide for they gave Harry understanding.
once Harry understood, he did his death walk and sacrificed himself, which in turn, saved everyone else.

If Snape were selfish he would have kept those memories to himself.
If Snape truly wanted glory & understanding - he would have divulged those memories to everyone in the Order of the Phoenix all along - so he could have been praised and worshipped during his lifetime.

Snape chose the most difficult road to do the right thing. I think that is worthy of sainthood.

I still like it. Go on, make him a saint... you've got my vote...

The fact that Harry gave Albus the middle name Severus says it all for me - at times Snape played his role so well that Harry loathed him - never did he guess how much Snape cared for his mother or the danger Snape put himself in. My guess is after a trip through the memories of Snape in the pensieve Harry had to change his views...

I agree with Gingobibble, Snape is worthy of Sainthood in my book.

Snape is by no means a saint yes he turned his life around but he is no saint. And SAint Snivelus does not sound good.
