I love investigations. Let's see, hmm, if Fred died in the middle of the battle and Bellatrix knew about it that leads us to that one of the deatheaters who were fighting was Bellatrix, but how he died there must one of the shooters shoot him rightly.

Fred was hit with a spell that missed someone else, and Bellatrix saw his body in the Hall. Simple.

wat r u talking about? wasnt he the leader of the hoese elves in hogwarst?
dobby killed fred, not on purpose, but by accident..yeah..thats what happened. im confinced.
