I LOVED THE LAST STAND.

From the moment Neville retrieved the sword and dealt that fatal blow to Nagini right through to the end.

In the chaos ...as the hoards of parents (+ ordinary people) clamoured over the walls yelling war cries , Centaurs in serious FIGHT mode ....Kreachers army, barring cleavers and all.... I really FELT like I was there!!

It took so much to overcome the Dark Lord.

I particularly re-read that chapter over and over for about a fortnight!!!

I loved it.

(I'm hopeless with names as well- but that's why I have brilliant memebers like Sprout helping me out.)
Again, let me state that personally- although I believe I speak for at least some TIRADE memebers- I do not HATE DH (I reserve that for greater evils- Bellatrix, for example,) but I think it was substandard and rather flawed.
On another note, I believe that in general fandom most people actually support the DA- TIRADE just happens to have an outspoken group of supporters with strong and well thought out/argued opinions.

Still, I'm glad to relinquish hedwig to you, gingo, best of luck to you. Roflmao, j/k.

(In all technicality, the idea for the DA is to counteract TIRADE, and I...erm....borrowed the idea of TIRADE from Psyduck and the Holey Club. So all original credit goes to them, I just tweaked it around a bit. Edit: Psyduck's idea to actually formally create the Holey Club, actual inspiration goes to Alo. -__- Or, evidently, Butha, as elmoro insists. All blame for misnaming goes to elmoro. xP)

One teeny-tiny little thing that I must question about the beginning of Part two of the battle...
I'm shocked that Hagrid could just stand there and listen to Voldemort's lie about how Harry "died". I seriously expected him to yell "LIAR!" or something like that. I mean, Neville could still have had his moment, but Hagrid could just yell right before that.
Has anyone else thought of this?
(That was NOT T.I.R.A.D.E. That was pondering.)
