In a interview J.K said that one of Harry's faults was occasional arrogance. Does anyone else think Harry is arrogant? I really don't actually. Ron, yeah. Sirius, yeah. But Harry......? Can't say I've seen that.

I have never seen that in Harry. A certain self-assuredness, absolutely. Even the occasional air of the self-righteous. But in most of those cases he was in the right, and that certainly helps. It ain't braggin' if you can do it. But in terms of his day to day persona, I would say no--not arrogant in the least.

She definately needs a check-up from the neck up. Or maybe just some fresh air, a few solid meals, a normal life with a schedule... Must be rough spending all that time alone with no one but fantasy characters to talk to. Sirius, James and Draco were certainly arrogant, but I don't see it in Ron any more than I see it in Harry.

Oh, gosh, that's harsh. Ron isn't an Einstein, but he means well. He was Harry's first true and loyal friend. Surely that counts for something. We can't all be Hermiones.

Oh, yeah. He's not the greatest of posterboys for Gryffindor, exhibts too many and too strongly the Gryffindor faults. Ron succumbs regularly to fits of jealousy. Ron not being an Einstein might be the understatement of the year. He became Harry's first friend almost entirely out of chance. But yes, he developed well through Deathly Hallows, I'll give him that. Last edited by teddylupin : 08-12-2007 at 07:46 PM.

| anybody with as much stress and responsiblility on their shoulders can at times show their arrogance the trick is to recognize when it happens an keep yourself in check, and when that fails that's why Ron and Hermione (friends of that sort) are there to keep you grounded.
