That meant no cousins for our children. Since I came from a small family, I'd hoped to marry into a family where I would have lots of sisters and close loving relationships -- what happens though is you learn to make friends that are like family -- you have to! | Quote:

Too bad really...Fred was the only death that really blindsided me. It didn't seem fair (even taking Tonks and Lupin into account). The bond between twins is something that will probably never be understood. | I come from a decently sized-family, I believe, but I've never had any interaction with any but the small/medium sized immediate one (direct cousins, and the like), and even that is somewhat limited because we live pretty far away. However, I most definitely prefer it that way, and if I do marry I think I'd rather prefer someone also from a smaller family. It's rather a contradiction, because I like living in places with more people, but I think that's probably because I've always enjoyed the feeling/idea of limitless possibilities. But huge amounts of children and people I can't ignore would give me headaches. George will never be quite the same, no, but I think he will bounce back, because he has the rest of his family, and he knows that Fred would want him to continue with life. Losing a twin is really horrible, but I find it hard to imagine George not continuing with WWW (though it probably did suffer at first, but came back, I would hope, maybe with the help of Ron or even Percy.) If Geirge DID remain a bachelor, it wouldn't be solely because of Fred's death, though that might be a contributer. |
