Godric's Hollow Statue (Spoiler)

What did you think about the war memorial turning into a Potter statue? And the sign that popped up in front of the James and Lily Potter home? When I read the part about the "graffiti" that supported Harry, I cheered. A good reminder to Harry that he wasn't really alone.

Of course, the next part of the story wasn't as pleasant....

That part reminded me of the "Wailing Wall" where people stuff prayers on little pieces of paper into the cracks in the wall.

It was a "steeling of the spirit" kind of moment...only to be thrown into another life-threatening situation a moment later. Seemed to be the theme of the entire book. A period of rest, a choatic event, a period of rest, another chaotic event, etc...

I liked that. It was sad that Harry didn't know a thing about it or Godric's Hollow at all for that matter. Why had no one talked to him about his history? He'd been living with the Dursleys for pity's sake!
