I know it sounds bizarre, but it was worth it. I was on some pretty strong meds and I've cut most of those out and am now controlling the migraines primarily through diet. Of course, people think I'm a nut case when I turn down chocolate cake, ice cream, and banana pudding, but . . .
oh wow - McD. something else I have in common with you.
Rather than suffering migraines, I used to have severe gastric pain and violent vomitting. This started about a year ago.
I also, had to cut out just about everything. survived on yeast free bread, lettuce and potatos for a couple months, and slowly am trying to reintroduce other foods. Somehow I simply couldn't digest fruits, vegetables, processed foods, fruit juice, soft drink, caffeine, wine...
the hardest thing to give up was the fruit and wine. I can eat some fruits again now. but I really really miss a glass of chilled white wine... mmmmm

anyhoo - I'm getting better.

By the way, did anyone hear Jim Dale today on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me"? I think he's doing some promotional stops around the country. I do like his Dobby voice.
LOL on the LP book. They can sell it with a special stand so that you won't kill yourself reading it!

Drat! I missed Jim Dale. Was he really good?? I bet he was . . .

I hate this for you! But I know you are so glad to know! I am so glad to know! People tell me they are sorry and I just smile and say thanks, but I'm not . . . It's so much better to have a limited diet and feel better. I'm so glad you are getting better!
