Does brown rice help prevent migraines - or you just knew it didn't cause them - ?

It's on a small list of safe foods. Then after three weeks, I added one food every two days to see if I could tolerate it.

I know it sounds bizarre, but it was worth it. I was on some pretty strong meds and I've cut most of those out and am now controlling the migraines primarily through diet. Of course, people think I'm a nut case when I turn down chocolate cake, ice cream, and banana pudding, but . . .

(In the spirit of the Brit. vs. Am. theme). Hard cheese old girl for having migraines. I feel very sorry for anyone that suffers with migraines. I am totally miserable whenever I get headaches and mine are infrequent, mild and effectively treated with aspirin or paracetemol (acetaminophen-Tylenol) or whatever
analgesic I get from the chemist.

Anyroad... I had better quit chatting and set off to work.

I only have a copy of the US version. But if anyone has copies of both versions and starts to list these differences, go ahead and add to this thread, then we can split it into a new section. That sound OK?

I have a friend who is in Ireland and told me she'd bring one home. Hopefully she will. This would be a really cool comparison.

I wonder if we could get one via amazon . . .

Lol, you lot really don't have much of a sweet tooth. Chocolate is my favorite food. How dare you talk trash about that.

But as far as Brit and American go. I like both fish&Chips, and the KFC chicken. Foods not so bad in either of the parts.
