That part was just lame. Nonsense.
All random and unbased hailing of Gryffindors tends to be. :P
However, I was taking that into consideration, and offering the only possible excuse for JK I could think of- that despite the other portions being destroyed, remorse would (somehow) help Voldemort's soul.
(Just like, you know, the answer to "Why didn't Harry see the threstals at the end of GoF instead of the beginning of OotP, or from the beginning, since Lily died?" If you've ever read her explanation on Lexicon. W e a k.)

i thought that it was the part he destoyed too. it was a baby because Harry was a baby when it happened...or maybe it was the thing that voldemort was in the 4th book before becoming human.(or as human as possible)

That sounds right to me

I thought of it as the peice of Voldemort's soul that is in his body not the peice that was on harry because the peice on Harry was killed so it wouldn't have gone in the limbo with him.

yes but we dont know if evuil people could go to that limbo though
so it is all possible that the piece of him could go to the limbo.
harry died and went there so why not the piece voldemort killed?
Dumbledore was definately dead also and he was still there
