Do you like the epilogue?

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THAT! I went back and looked and she didn't mention Snape's portrait being there when Harry asked Dumbledore's portrait about leaving the Resurrection Stone where he found it.

yeah, i wasn't thrilled about how JKR made the epilogue so heart renching...I mean, come on....we just finished going through the chapters where Harry is fighting for his life then what do you know? Harry is walking with Ginny with his kids, and see's Hermione and Ron.....cheezey much! and the names of the kids...UGH!!!!!!! I would have liked it better if she left it off with him and Ginny leaving the ruined castle together with ron and Hermione for the last Chapter.......but thats just me.

I felt it was a bit canned.

Can you guys get the the Restricted Section of the Library? If so, go to bottom to the Room of Requirements - that's where we're supposed to be if we're talking about Book 7. I'll try and start a thread on what we're talking about..

I thought the epilogue was too confusing. all the names and the random kids. I couldn't figure out if James or Albus were older. Also, it was a little cheesy. I would have liked to have read more about Harry and Ginny while they were still student-aged.

I agree, the epilogue was very disappointing.. I would have loved it to be just Harry, Ron, and Hermione sitting somewhere looking at Hogwarts... but nevertheless, I'm heartbroken at the realization that there are no more books to look forward to..

Don't even say that! it depresses me beyond beliefe!!
