How many do you want? Half the total number of questions?

I agree with McD that some of these could probably be discussed and figured out. Could there be a way for people to respond in such a way that indicates they think they know the answer? (other than delete - because that may mean someone just thinks it's insignificant)

There's a comment box after each batch of questions. I suppose it could be made more clear.

Ok, gang, I re-arranged the survey format a little.
Would anyone like to take it for a test drive?
It won't count.
Take either survey, using the old link from post #25 (above)
or use the new link below.
I just want to see how the results come back.

Draft # 2:

Copy of Questions for JKR, draft # 2

Click">http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=JkZMJiLIyT3ro1vL4jyYVg_3d_3d">Click Here to take survey

Which link works better here?

Which is better, draft #1 or #2?
The first one is broken into pages, the second is all on one page.

====================

By the way, I'm adding a few more.

Considering the family background of Susan Bones, why did she never get involved?
On the US cover of DH, where are they and what are they doing?
Why didn't the Sorting Hat burn Neville? Or did it?
How did things turn out for Reg & Mary Cattermole and their three kids? (DH, page 25)

I'm sorry. The name wasn't "McKinnen."
I just looked it up.
Molly's brothers were Fabian and Gideon Prewett.

And now that I think about it... Are the initials, "G" and "F" a coincidence?
Were Gideon and Fabian twins or something?
I know... too trivial. I just wonder.

Did the sisters reconcile? Tonk's mother (who lost husband, daughter, and son-in-law) and Draco's mother (can't remember/spell names)

Good question.
The Black sisters, Narcissa Malfoy and Andromida Tonks.
I suppose it's possible.

Ok, so how do we get a message directly to JKR?

jelf "I think the dust needs to settle a bit for her - but my guess would be through her web-site..."

Dumbledore_Lives, "She's been known to view forums and certain sites, such as DumbledoreLives.com, so maybe if a certain topic gets a lot of attention...she'll be notified."

There's got to be a way.
How about identical letters from 50 people?
(Do we have 50 active people?)

===================

Please comment. Here's some new stuff that will be in draft #3:

Considering the family background of Susan Bones, why did she never get involved?
On the US cover of DH, where are they and what are they doing?
Why didn't the Sorting Hat burn Neville? Or did it?
How did things turn out for Reg & Mary Cattermole and their three kids? (DH, page 25)
Fabian and Gideon Prewett (Molly's brothers)
Was Hepzibah related to Zacharias Smith?
Fudge -- add to Umbridge Q.
Do Narcissa and Andromeda ever reconcile?
Have you created a War Memorial? A funeral season? Tell us how they all went.
Where was Snape buried? Did he have a Funeral? Who attended? How do the historians treat him?

How, when and why do the Headmasters' portraits appear in the Head's office? Will Umbridge be there after she dies?

What happened with the fameous "Already dead" paragraph (HBP, chapter 27, page 591). An editing error? A clever marketing ploy?

I think we all wondered about that.
This question is on my list.
See also the thread, "Question for the end? **Spoiler**"

page 706
"It had the form of a small, naked child, curled on the ground, its skin raw and rough, flayed-looking, and it lay shuddering under a seat where it had been left, unwanted, stuffed out of sight, struggling for breath...
...small and fragile and wounded...whimpering..."
