Yes, very true (I actually really felt for Regulus, more than I ever imagined, even thinking he was RAB before Deathly Hallows, so I give a lot of credit to Rowling for writing that particular scene, which I found outstanding).

Maybe their parents were both pureblood Slytherins that carried a recessive Gryffindor gene.

Oh, and to Jelf: In some ways, I felt killing off one twin was worse than killing both, because I really can't imagine living with a twin your whole life, and then suddenly being half of a whole.

I think that Percy acted like such a jerk because, well, think about it; He'd strove for power, preferably at the Ministry, pretty much his whole life, and then the second he gets a job there, his boss goes slightly insane and is killed, he gets into a ton of trouble, but then he gets a promotion. Admittedly suspicious, but he'd wanted a job like that his whole life, so he turns a blind eye to it. One thing leads to another, he's fighting with his family. Then, finally, he realizes that he was a "Ministry-loving, family-disowning, attention-seeking prat", he's 100% upset and sorry about it, and he's on the right side again.
At least he admitted he was wrong before it was too late...

I second what Psy said. I mean, TIRADE was already brewing, of course, with whomever had already finished the book credit to Heds for sparking the actual creation of it, though but yeah, it wouldn't have been good for people to go in with a horribly slanted view of the book before they even finished reading it, which at this point, quite a lot of people hadn't.

I wanted TIRADE to gain momentum baised on DH's own (lack of) merit, not because of other reviews.
Though Arda knows how many people were touting DH before and directly after its release.

Not that we didn't have good, non-TIRADE discussion about DH as well... but it was exhausted relatively soon.

Well, it was that thread with me and mcD, and what was that preferred sort-of, maybe, not really insult of yours- what was it Dum-Dum? Yeah, that was the point ini my head where I was thought- hmm. Definitely need an official club for DH detracters.
