I would have loved to find out what Dudley did with his life - what a powerful start to the book when he and Harry separated! It set the tone of selflessness.

Yeah, and what the dementors made him see.

YES! Dudley was such a surprise! and poof, no more Dudley . . .

I swear J.K said we would find out what happened when the dementors attacked Dudley. Amongst other things.

its true that we could never be entirely satisfied because afterall it is the end. Everyone had their own 'connection' to the characters and therefore would have been expecting/wanting a different ending.
I think she did an amazing job, she gave reasons for things that happened in the past, why people acted the way they did etc.
I think we should probably be glad she really didn't kill off anyone entirely major (harry, ron, hermione).
The tent scene was boring, but i found from the time they decided to visit lovegood, i couldn't put the book down.

I feel majorly P'd off.

You didn't spoil it girl! Obviously you aren't the only one disappointed. Although I am enjoying it more the second read through, but I know what to expect, I'm more relaxed -- not in as big a hurry, and I'm picking up loads I missed the first time.

Yeah I'm starting again too. I just don't wanna get to the epilogue! I'm gonna start the whole series again after that. That will cheer me up. My luverly Sirius and Dumbledore.
