HPDH: Hagrid (spoiler)

How many times did you think Hagrid died? Seems to me it was too many times and three that stick out were:

When the bike crashed
When he ran into the forest, then later we find he's hiding in a cave.
When he got taken by spiders, then he's with Voldermort.

that is so true.

she has done that throughout the books.
like at the end of the 6th when the death eaters were attacking him as they left the grounds.

he's just so tough!

in Book 6 doesn't the Ministry take a few shots at Hagrid and then Prof McGonagall gets hit? Hagrid definitely does seem indestructible.

I'm glad she didn't actually kill him. I was really worried that she would.

I was positive she would kill him. Positive. Fitted the alchemy theory. I love Hagrid and I am so happy he survived but in a way it seemed strange that he didn't die. I was sure she was followin that pattern. It made sense. Maybe he was one of the ones who got a reprieve.

After he didn't die at Tonk's parent's house, I didn't really worry about him again. But I just knew we'd lost him then.

When I was reading the motorcycle crash scene I was sure that was the end of Hagrid!

Hagrid's was the death I most dreaded. A death scene with HP holding his hand would have been unbearable. I was convinced it was going to happen.

It did seem like that was it. But JKR couldn't be so cruel. Any other way but that!
