In chapter 36, page 747, Harry was just talking to Dumbledore. A few others were mentioned, but they were not important. Maybe Snape needed a nap, as Dumbledore did on his first night as a portrait.

Snape loved Lily, but I think the extent to which he cared for Harry was supposed to be there too. He was a major -- though hidden -- part of Harry's life. Snape wanted Harry to succeed, his only way of defining love.
