I couldn't agree more. I thought the epilogue was beautiful though. so happy that the four survived. devastated that so many others though were lost along the way. I know they are fictionary characters, but to have gone through so much, so young...

I don't think I want her to write any more adventures for Harry and the gang. I think I'd prefer to know that if there is nothing further to tell, their lives remain peaceful and happy.

Good point. Will miss the anticipation and magic of it all though me and my son have loved the books and will probably re-read them again and again till they fall apart. glad kreacher turned out good.

I think Kreacher was a lesson in 'we will become how we are allowed and expected to be'. the kids treated him well. they showed good faith and gave him a treasure that he valued above... I don't think Sirius could have done that, given sirius' family being the way they were. but I was touched to see the change of heart - particularly towards Hermione.

I LOVED it! Although I must admit Im holding on to the hope that She will tell us more......

Anyone wonder how much of the end changed because of the popularity of the books?

I love Molly in the end fighting Beltix.....GO GIRL!

I cried I laughed I cheered! What a great book!

AND Tonks' mother, Dromeda, who resembles Bellatrix Lestrange. Did Narcissa ever speak to her again (after the death of Bellatrix). I have to admit, I was definitely cheering on Molly myself! Molly was always being overlooked by Harry and friends. They shouldn't have--she was one of the members of the Order of the Phoenix.

As for Narcissa--someone said she was not a Deatheater, just related to two of them....I am not so sure about that. AHacker

Narcissa's character was a good way to show that even those worshiping the Dark Lord could become fearful and question. Narcissa was with Lucius and Draco at Voldermort's table, for example. She didn't stop what was going on and by that omission was she participating? Yes.
