Who Else Besides Me Hates Cho?

i think that cho is beautiful, but she treats harry like poo! she cries in front of him and makes him feel all awkward. he doesnt even know when shes quizzing him to see if he likes her, yet she still does it. its also gonna be kinda hard to talk about cedric when he was actually there when he died. and then in the 6th book, she acts like he doesnt even exist! but j.k. did bring her up for a reason. what reason u may ask? i dont know, but she is a main character. j.k. couldve just left her out, but nope, she was in the book bits and pieces. there are 2 main characters that are going to die in the 7th book, and j.k. decided to bring cho up. i think its her.

Cho isn't a main character. SHe is one of those characters that is used to add to the books feeling ya kno.
JK made her to show that Harry is growing up and is starting to feel differently towards girls. I am certain that Cho will not be on of the characters that is killed in book 7 because she wouldn't have that great of an impact in t he plot and she is not a main character.

As for hating her-I don't because it wasn't her fault she cried a lot, I mean, her old boyfriend was just murdered and she is a little sensitive. So what, that is no reason to hate her!

Cho's not that terrible. OK, so she didn't really know how to be sensitive to Harry (he had barely discussed Cedric's murder with anyone before then) when she and he went on their date in book five. Kind of makes me wonder if she saw him as a replacement for Cedric, rather than a person in his own right.

As for not talking to him in book six... that's not that unusual for a couple when they fall apart, particularly if they've never really had a relationship like that before. Any encounters after things fall apart are awkward for awhile - avoidance, or space to get over the other person, is a fairly natural tendency.

Well i liked her at first...

then i didnt so much...

i mean yeah she was going through a hard time...but its time to man it up...just cause you hurt doesnt mean you can treat other people in unacceptable ways....

It's just..she hurt because of cedric....but how much hurt has harry gone through....she jsut needed to realize that harry shared her pain, and hes not a replacement for cedric...and she should have thought about his feelings before leading him on...you know?

And I, honestly, think that Cho cries waaaaaaaaaay to much.

I dont share your hatred for her...Shes just a bit too whiney in her demeanor.

I don't hate Cho... I really don't think she can be blamed for making Harry feel awkaward, as it definitely wasn't intentional or vindicative.
She is rather overly-emotional, and perhaps not very capable, but hell, she's a teenage girl whose boyfriend died. I mean...yeah, a lot of people died during the war, but that can definitely be an indelible scar that is hard to handle.
Cho was foolish, certainly, but not deserving of hate.
