@Aug 26 2005, 09:46 AM I know all of these discussions makes me think I really need to re-read the entire collection again. Making for fresh ideas to some of these hard hitting questions and theories. LOL | You are totally right. And this time I would like to read them in english,I've gone through books one through five in spanish and book six in english. So a lot of things get lost in the translation like names of places like The Whomping Willow in spanish is called El Sauce Boxeador wich means The Boxing Willow,The Shrieking Shack was La Casa De Los Gritos wich is The House Of Screams. So there are a lot of things wich I know what they mean but that was not what it was called originaly in english. It's hard to get them in english over here.Ohh plus the ones in spanish are translated in Spain.Their spanish is as diferent from our spanish as the english from England is from the one spoken in the U S.So that makes things even stranger. Hey I agree with you. I've read the three first books in spanish, so when I read the 4th in English I had a little confusion in my brain because some names are different. I'm going to re-read those books in english, and that's a good way to practice my english too!! But about the topic in this forum I think that being intelligent doesn't have to do with memory. You can memorize a lot of things but that doesn't mean that you will have the abilty to solve problems(that's being smart!). I think when they say the Ravenclaws are the smart ones is because they have the abily to use what they learn and apply it to their "real" world.
Or something like that. JA!
