i kno this has nuthin 2 do with the topic but i like ur avatar weird guy. i like penguins. i think they're sooooooo cute. anyways, i like the new board, but the flood control does get annoying. i like 2 post right after i read sumthing but if i just posted then i can't do that unless i wait 4 180 seconds (that's 3 min. why don't u just say 3 min instead of 180 seconds?) which is sumtimes makes me soooo mad. other that that, i luv the new board. ok bye.

Yes, the flood control is set high at the moment. We had a few new members who were spamming the boards and bringing forward very old threads with posts such as "huh?" "Ok" "yeah" .. etc. It was time consuming to get the posts straight - so we slowed it down to give us time.

The good news is that most of the flooding has stopped so we'll consider lowering the time. The spamming always seems to be from new members. So, it would be nice to just have "muggles" constrained to a high flood control and as the member becomes more experienced to lower the number. I'm not sure this is possible with this version of software - but it is a good idea and I'll look into it.
