what advice i love the firework display in ootp. especially the flying pigs. there all great names but why not weaslys wizard weases like they said they would call it.

That would be a coppy write problem with JK's people

I think a cool Idea would be a wand laser pointer, or wand laser tag

That is a boring name for such creative people like Fred and George to have come up with. I really like the names though, they are neat. I wonder why Harry gave them the Galleons? I mean it was REALLY nice and all, but if Mrs.Weasley finds out, Harry, and Fred/George will be in deep doo-doo.

Potterdog: Laser wands would be good. Paint Wands on a course with teams like paintball could be cool. You know Fred and George though, if it doesn't explode or make somebody sick, they probably would think it's lame. Ah well, back to the drawing board.

Dominoe: Harry gave the money to the twins because he didn't want to profit from Cedric's death. Cedric's parents wouldn't take it. The twins took the money because Harry told them he was going to chuck it out the train window if they didn't take it. Fred & George had lost all their savings to Bagman and they couldn't ask their folks for money. Fact is, the twins couldn't believe their luck when Harry just handed them 1000 galleons. But if their joke shop is successful, Mrs. Weasley will be proud of them....maybe.

Hm. If our Muggle-world made "wand laser-tag," that'd make a lot of money, don't you think? Except for those people who'd flip if their children pretended to shoot each other. My parents were never like that, thank goodness. I'll always remember those summer days, running around playing "Cowboys and Indians" or "Elves and Orcs" with my brothers as a twelve year old. *sigh* Alas, now I have to play with my little sisters in secret, so the neighbors don't think me completely off my rocker.

Personally, I think wand laser tag would be great. The war room could be divided into Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley. But as Potterdog pointed out, the business would be hobbled by licensing fees and agreements. So it probably would never get off the ground unless JKR went into the business herself. With all these Harry Potter enterprises, I'll bet she's so mired in legal ramifications that she has to have a lawyer present in order to talk to herself. Ha-ha-ha
