Surprime witch: You're right. JKR, when talkking about the link between the books, goes on to say "There's no trace of the HBP storyline in the 'Chambers....Rather it relates to a discovery Harry made in 'Chambers' that foreshadows something that he finds out in 'Prince'"

So, yes the story line's different but what 'discovery' did Harry make in the CoS? He's a parseltongue? That Voldemort gave Harry some of his powers? Does this link to the 'glint of victory' in Dumbledors eye about Voldemort shares Harry's blood? Or is it something so urbane that we'd never guess/ another Cedric?

The point is, I think, that JKR says that CoS "holds some very important clues" and ''foreshadows something he finds out in the HBP''. She does not say that the HBP was in CoS. Or maybe that's exactly what it means.... Ahhhh!

maybe the hbp can speak possiltuge, there was no one in school other than harry that could and remmeber the dark lord and harry are both half blood yet they both talk to snakes so it has to be a new charicter
i already brougth that point up but people did not go with it any futher now you brougth it up
