Pansy isn't a pureblood, is she? Draco better find himself a pureblood or his dad is liable to transfigure his girlfriend into a mud pie.
Susan Bones and Neville have the same family history. Both their parents were destroyed by Valdemort. I think that will eventually bring them together. Of course, now that I write this, I can't remember which book mentioned Susan Bones parents. Does any one else remember?

I think it'll be Harry and Hermione because when she found out that he and Cho kissed under the miseltoe, she frowned. During the triwizard tourney she was extremely affectionate and congratulatory towards Harry after the second task. And she nearly completely ignored Krums accomplishment altogether. Also at the end of book four she kissed Harry on the cheek which she has not done with Ron or Viktor to our knowledge. And when Harry arrived at 12 Grimmauld place she shrieked and threw herself on him and embraced him in a hug. And she seemed to feel just a tad more hatred toward Umbridge than even Harry or Ron. Don't think that Umbridge forcing Harry to cut up his own hand didn't play a part in that hatred.
Moreover Hermione needs an equal or a superior. Only Harry fulfills that requirement. She is literally the best in the school save for one person, Harry. And this is a man she can fall for.
She could never fall for Ron. You read what she said in OoP, right after Harry made out with Cho in the D.A. room. "Ron you are the most insensitive wart I have ever had the misfortune to meet." She's a gryffindor not a slytherin which means that when she speaks to her friends and others she feels she can trust, it's always from her heart and mind truthfully and without fear or regret. She also said that he had the emotional range of a teaspoon at some point.
Hermione argues so fiercely with Ron because she wants him to grow emotionally and turn into a mature, sensitive, man, not because she's developing feelings for him. It's almost like a parent trying to teach a child to be an adult. Hermione could not possibly fall for someone she believes to be less mature and more insensitive than her.
I do believe Ron has probably developed feelings for her that he doesn't even realize he has.
I don't think Hermione will ever fall for Viktor Krum either because she was never really been around him enough for him to compete with Harry for Hermione's heart. She only KINDA hung out with him for one year.
Now Harry, I think, has not even realized her feelings for him yet because she is clever enough to hide them. And I think she hides her heart from Harry because she's young and she doesn't quite yet know how to deal with these feelings. She's mature but inexperienced in the ways of life and love.

Thanks. In real life I have all this good stuff to say and it seems as though I either forget what I was going to say or I get interrupted or both. And here I can say whatever I want with out either one happening. And I can spell check and get all the grammar and everything just right. That's why I love chat sights.

I have a gift to detect girls crushes, especially when those crushes are on me. And you might say that she's not crushing on me, but the books are written from Harry's point of view. And I thought I detected some crush vibes from Hermione towards Harry. And besides You only fall for someone you know very well. There are only two boys Hermione knows well enough to fall for and Hermione dwarfs Ron in so many ways. But she does not dwarf Harry. And besides Harry not even realizing that Hermione's got it bad for him is a good story line. The dolt doesn't even realize that this cute girl is absolutely silly for him.

It would be really awsome if in the sixth book Harry finds out that someone has a crush on him and he finds out it's Hermione before the end. Of course then the only thing that would make a story line like that even better would be if Hermione dies immediately afterward which would really suck royally but it would make for great tragedy.

I think that Hermione and Harry are connected by his need to save the world and her need to save him. I think she may look at him someday and say, "Enough with the rest of the world already. What about us?"

I was wrong about Susan Bones. Page 550 in Order of the Phoenix states that she lost an aunt, an uncle and cousins to the death eaters. She did not lose her parents. But I still think Susan and Neville are a good match.

I can definitely see Neville and Susan Bones happening. Or Neville and Ginny. Or maybe Ron and Susan Bones.

Those things Hermione did are exactly the reason why I think Hermione and Harry are only dear friends instead of couples, she treats him like a brother whom she loves very much...
All those things she called Ron, and her arguing with him all the time, shows that shes more concerned with how he's behaving. I don't think she's in love with Ron yet, but I think she will be. Time will tell. :)
