Some things just have to left out for the sake of Movie continuity. A movie has to take place in about two hours. When you've read the book and you know what's missing from the movie - suspend your disbelief. My love for Harry Potter no extends to Daniel Radcliff because the movies are so much a total part of the whole experience. Just because some instances are missing doesn't mean the experience is missing anything. I really liked Neville Longbottom in the first movie.

i sort of agree with you fenrirbound i completely agree and understand why every scene from the book cannot be added to the movie for the sake of time. and i do agree that just because the schene is not in the movie does not mean it's missing but i personally look forword to certain things to see what they might look like and if it's anything like i imagined and sometimes it takes away the feeling of the movie because they usually take an important part of the move that leads to something or explains something important. i think they take away something and something is missing when they do not show the movie to it's entirety.
Especially the fourth movie coming up i think they will delete alot of scenes because the book was pretty long.. what do u think???

A scene i really liked was when hermoine had her wand up against draco in the third film, thought that was really good acting (his little wimpers were funny but realistic, slightly cute ) and the fact draco thought he'd got away with it before being punched was so funny. Good acting/directing.
