o heck yeah, he has to!if he dies and wormtail doesnt i will be SO upset, ill have half the mind to write a letter, it wouldnt be fair all the good marauders to dies and that foul repulsive pig to live!

I so agree, but I have a theory... or at least a fantasy about that situation.

I think that some how Peter Pettigrew/Wormtail/Scabbers will lose his new silver arm and somehow Hermione will find a way to incorporate it into Lupin's Wolfsbane Potion, thereby making him invincible!!! And then Wormtail will be forced to repay his life debt to Harry (he owes Harry his life for saving him from the other Maurauders in POA) by throwing himself between Voldy's Avada Kedavra and Harry.

Well... a girl can dream, can't she???
