Should we keep the dragon in the background or go with a simple repeated design?

I really like the dragon, but if you do deside to go with a repeated design I wouldn't go with an uber boring one, ya kno?
For example, I wouldn't go with one that is just squares or something.

The problem is a script and the devs are trying to figure it out. Those who use the FireFox browser do not have any problems and the site is quite fast.

I kinda like the dragon.. But i hate the slow typing.. i know they are trying to stop it..

I say keep the dragon for a little bit anyway.
