User Title Colors

We need to choose colors for the different usergroups.

Username HTML Markup (Specify an opening and closing HTML tag with which to display the names of users in this group. This applies to names that appear on Logged-in Users, Who's Online, Users Browsing Forum, Users Browsing Thread, Posts, Member List etc.)

What colors do you think should be used for each of the following groups?

Headmaster
Upperclassmen
Hogwarts Student
Squib

What? Why?

Look at the bottom of the home page and you will see statistics. In the statistics, there is a list of who is online (refreshed every 10 minutes). Instead of the names being all the same color, we can designate different colors for different titles.

For example, I placed all of the Headmasters as bold and maroon. When someone is online, you will then know if they are a Muggle, Squib, Hogwars Student, or Upperclassmen. Each of those designations has different posting abilities, and sees different features (e.g., a muggle cannot see the chatbox; some cannot see fan fiction, some cannot start threads but only reply, some can only get into the introductions forums).

Make sense?

Now, what colors (and fonts) would help clarify the user titles?

I think that is an awesome idea, I've seen it done on other sites and it seems to work.

I think that upper classmen should have bold royal blue.
The headmaster should be bold black.
Hogwarts Students should have Hot Pink.
Squibs should be orange.

I like Tonks idea..but..I think the headmaster should be in Neon Green...So it will stand out..

Yeah, a good bright green would go with the other colors perty well.

I don't think all Hogwarts Students would like hot pink, though. Maybe we could leave the Headmaster maroon and make Hogwarts Students neon green.

Why are Squibs green? It feels demeaning(spelling?)...
