The Owlery

As we have said before, there are many problem areas in The Owlery. We would appreciate all suggestions, and we would like to know where things go wrong. Please post problems and suggestions here, and we'll see what we can do.

I still can't find the entrance to your Owlery.

I tried to sign up, had all my info, at first it didn't give a security code. I hit submit and it gave me a code. Then I enter the security code and nothing. Nothing happens. I try it all over again, still nothing. So if I could get help with that it would be really nice.

Well, I tried it.
In addition to asking for an unreasonable amount of information,
you can't get in without a drats profile image.
What if I don't have or want a drats profile image.

What drats thingy?

Yes. The profile image is a nasty gotcha on this version. This is why I used my avatar.

We are waiting for the membership database to be merged and so all of the hassle of re-registering will go away (eventually). In the meantime, I am looking at scripts and trying to figure out how to modify the registration so that the items match our needs.

The rotten fields in "MY DETAILS" from the default installation are now gone. This took a database change but is well worth the effort to keep the site family centered. "HOUSE" is now inserted and members may choose between the four houses.

What other fields should be placed in the "MY DETAILS"?
