I think 3 minutes is a bit excessive in terms of having to wait to post something else. I don't think it should ever be more than a minute on a discussion board. What do yall think?

Well, I guess it does help encourage you to type longer posts. But I do agree with you that it is extremely long when it doesn't always take a very long post to answer someone questions. There should be a way to make it work according to the amount of people on the chat, I think.

I like that idea but ppl might also be able to get to the higher years faster and the admins dont want that. lol

It is excessive. And it was antisipated that we would have more people on at once than we really have now. I think that the Admin thought that since the 4th movie and 6th book were all coming out in one year they had better get a higher flood cortrol time or else everything would get jumbled up and confusing. :P

I believe that they are waiting for an upgrade before they can reduce the flood control time. That's what Dumbledore told me I think. :P

Oh yeah?
Dumbledore(or other admin that knows for that matter)- Is this the case? If so, when will the new upgrade be happening?
