What's With All These Hpana, Wiz. News Etc Posts?

HPANA , Leaky Culdron, Wizard News(Idon't know this one) etc are good sites but I chose THIS site to belong to. Why is my site being taken over by these inane, boring postings from other sites??

Administrators, can't you stop these other sites posting their topics on our site?

If we want to bring across info. from their sites that we think is interesting, we will.
No one reads the stuff these other sites are posting here please get rid of it.

The thing I particularly love about this site is that the posties seem/feel like they own it. These postings from other sites is sapping that from the site and the whole thing is pretty patronising

I totally and completely agree with you Buff.
Everytime these other thingys put in a topic of theirs it is bumping of a perfectly good and postable topis into the land of forgotteness.
I personally think that it is disturbing.

Please make it all stop and delete their topics as soon as possible so the forgotten topics will be reborn.

I agree. look at the hit rates on these 'topic' postings.. none!! More to the point these postings, by these nasty pirates, are unreplyable! Who has a response to 'Emma spotted trout fishing in a mall in England'?? What are you meant to say to that???

This stuff is killing the conversation, is a blatant atempt to advertise other sites AnD is ruining the look of OUR site!

These nasty pirates might be boarding us (hee hee funny pun) but we'll storm the baracdes!! Or at least we'll keep posting on this topic until we get the administrators' attention. (ohh. I'm feeling all.. Spanish civil war-ry!)

Talking of which, I just went to check top ten posts -as is my want! I like to see if I've beaten my mate, the amazing Zonko yet 'cause I'm kinda shallow like that- and discovered that HPANA is an administrator. Do you think that that might mean that we are a subsiduary(sp?) of HPANA?

You mean HPANA is actually an administrater. Oh no we're in big puddles now. That mean when we ask the administraters for help we are asking the one that is causing most of the pain.

Buff we are all going to have go for the gold and one of us will (hopefully soon) become an adminstrater.
