They are called RSS feeds. It brings news from those websites here. Some may consider it easier than going to HPC and The Leaky Cauldron for Harry Potter information. It is not advertising .. and each post has been read a good amount of times.
Because we had complaints before, they are now in their own forum --"Harry Potter RSS." There is also the original Daily Prophet [[moved out of Diagon Alley and near the RSS feeds]] so you can continue posting as you were before. If you want to look at what news sites are saying, go ahead and read the RSS posts. If not, you don't have to go in that forum.
As for a lot of The Leaky Cauldron posts, they were supposed to come in with a link, and a bit more information. Unfortunatly, they weren't, but that should be fixed now. I do realize how dumb they were before -- a couple sentences that drifted off and informed people of nothing ..
Also, last time we had the RSS feeds up, they were coming in at a terrible rate. It was a crazy amount of posts coming in, and showing over the posts made my actual members. This time, we lowered the amounts of posts coming in, and separated the two forums.
