Some of them are actually, the Dan Brown books, for instance, co-"owned" with my mom, roflmao.
Little Women was one of my favorite classics. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, as well, and Mark Twain's "The Prince and the Pauper" was suprisingly endearing.

I went through a phase where I was just reading random best sellers, so I read quite a few books then, and picked up one or two favorites, but I can't remember the rest, XD. I know I read them, I just have no idea what happened or if I liked them or not. Gah.

Oh, I loved the Chocolate War, and thought Robert Cormier's books were pretty good.

I see Hedwig is an Anne of Green Gables fan, as well. Love that series. We need to covert Teddy, Hedwig.

I've so many books I'm suppose to read, and never get around to actually reading. I can't tell you how many books I've read because a friend brought the book to school, and I started reading it while bored, and got hooked. Than I proceed to pretty much steal it from them and read nonstop for a day or two before returning it. Eragon and Eldest were both read in this manner, after school and before tennis practice.
Da Vinci Code was my mom's present to herself, laying on the coffee table, that I picked up and ended up finishing before my mom got halfway. Roflmao.
All the books I mean to read usually get interrupted by these kind of spur-of-the-moment reads. XP

I have the same problem. I work at a library, and I bring home more books than I'll ever have time to read.

I agree wallflower ... there's something about working in a library. Instead of school tuckshop I usually help out there. Old time favourite -Caribbean James A Michener and Blainey's A short history of the world. I also really enjoyed the Sisterhood of the travelling pants recently ??? Go figure

Tuckshop? What is that? I help on the farm, and work part-time at village hall.

Oh! I forgot about Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! That's one of my favorites, too.
I think it's going to be hard to convert Teddy to Anne of Green Gables, Sprout. I'm usually good at making people optimists, but I've failed dismally at making TL one so far.

dunno if i'm the only one here who has read them, but i just finished two really good books. one is called Wild Roses by Deb Caletti which is realistic fiction. the other is called Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier which is fantasy.

Rose Caletti - Queen of Everything? Not my usual but my daughter has got it I think, will check it out

One book I found hard to handle was 'The Lovely Bones' by Alice Seabold ... it's old but still creeps me out.
