Ew! Harry Potter is Nasty.

I just realized something Harry Potter is gross.

The Pure bloods are basically marrying siblings, cousins, and other family members. Thats gross as heck.
No, wonder Malfoy had mental issues. (joking)

Also Tonks and Remus are thirteen years apart in age. Thats gross as well.

But not as Gross as marrying your family members.

Oh please. There are more purebloods than that.
And Tonks didn't care about age. So HA!

marrying people older that you used to be standard but marrying in to your on family is gross

And even so you still have to marry family members if long distant cousin to keep the pureblood line.

I was talking about two different things. Not Remus and Tonks as family members.

Tonks and Sirius were cousin. And in the book Harry thought she had fallen in love with Sirius.
Thats just gross.

Tonks and Remus make a good couple. Until you get to the fact that they are thirteen years apart.
But I think her personality makes Remus happy.
I think that they were the perfect counter balance towards each other.

But these happen in real world .... Both marrying your family and marrying a old guy .... I think it's ok if the couple are long distant cousins .... My aunt and uncle did that .

every royal family in the world is bound by this.
royals can only marry others of royal blood.
marriages were arranged for some political advantage/truce making.

a large age difference matters more when you are younger.
eg: 15 year old girl and 25 year old man - icky.
35 year old woman and 45 year old man - fine.
