Did you notice...?

I am starting this thread for the people who notice small, but interesting, things that aren't worth an entire thread.
For example: Did you notice that, in the first book, Hagrid says James and Lily were Head Boy and Girl, but James was never even a prefect?
These small things I keep noticing, but can't fit into other threads, nag me so much that I've decided to create this thread.

I'm quite confused about prefect and head boys/girls .... Which one have more authority ?

Ive had a question for a while also and didnt want to post such a little thing either..so here goes..

Did anyone notice that in the book they talk about the pensive as bening smaller DD puts it on his desk during lessons but in the movie its huge and takes up most of the cabinet????

i don't get one thing thought (it's not really 'did u notice')..

wand belong to gregorovich, gridelwald steal it, but it never belonged to him, right?
and dumbledore won a wand from grindelwald, and wand suddenly became his..
he had to beat gregorovich to get a wand?

No, by stealing it he took it from it's unwilling owner, so it was Grindewalds. Then, it was Dumbledore's.

head boy/girls

But I thought prefects had more power.

And Hagrid could have meant that they were head boy and girl meaning they were better that they behaved better(well not James.)
But remember Lilly and James were both intelligent, but that's at least what they told Harry.

And Hagrid might of also said that because he didn't want Harry to hate his parents.

No. Head Boys and Girls are seventh years. And they had to be prefects first.
