What I like about you...

I do not want to detract from the point of this thread - which is to acknowledge people and say something positive.

What I like about shirl, is that without her, I wouldn't have felt welcome enough to stick around a bit longer.... As a result... I then got to know alo better, and the dutchies... I love the dutchies - they are great. and then the writers we have here - all of them... the puzzle/riddle groupies - thanks for keeping me inspired to create more... the newbies from different lands - thanks for teaching me snippets of your languages - I think that is awesome that you all come here and type in english when it is (in many cases) not your first, or even second language.

Gingo is in a lose lose situation. With Severus, she'll have to duel you Teddy. And with Sirius, she'll have to duel me. And as we are both passionate Tiraders, of course we will win. Nem mind Gingo, have Charlie instead.
What I LOVE about Teddy is her AMAZINGLY intelligent way of putting her (and therefore my) point across!

Gary Oldman and Alan Rickman are wonderfully charismatic and intelligent actors... that's good enough for me.

I won't fight you kids for HP characters. I adore the difficulty in being Severus Snape. He had no 'easy' solution - regardless of which way he chose to turn.

Sirius suffered a lot in Azkaban. I like that he isn't 'pretty boy goodlooking' like Cedric. In his younger days... he is cuter. But after his time in Azkaban for a crime he did not commit. Bad things happen - even to good people.

I'm drawn to the character who endures a lot. Faces a lot of hardship and has to grow and develop a mental toughness to get through.

Some develop strategies to shut off the rest of the world so that they never feel hurt again. Others simply don't acknowledge the real world and prefer to live in the parameters of their own making.

I can't believe I've not seen this thread before. Brilliant idea. Except, I think I see people knocking heads in here for some reason. Oh well.. each to their own. If it makes you happy.. it can't be that bad.

Actually, I don't know where to start.. I like everyone so much.. too afraid I might leave someone out.

I came to HPC by mistake.. but it's amongst the best mistakes I've ever made. I've met a lot of wonderful people here. I haven't come accross anyone who I've disliked.. well, there was this one guy.. but it was my big mouth that set things off then.. so I don't hold his attitude against him.. I did think he was a girl.. Some people are quite sensitive about their gender.

But genuinely speaking, there's something special about each of us. We're all different in our own ways and yet are all united by Harry Potter. I've found many things to like about everyone here. And I do consider many of you as friends, even though most of us are far away from each other and in all probability may sadly never meet.

I love this HPC. everyone has been sooooo nce, soo warm, sooo friendly and loving dat i keep coming back to this chat box!! i have chatted wid a very few person till now and i liked all of them!! i just wanna thank everyone for being so friendly and cooperative!!! Its really great to meet such sweet people!!!!

i agree with Alo, evelryone here is so nice and i'm pretty sure i've met most of you, and will continue to meet all of you, hopefully. i seem to make new acquaintances every day and i do count many of you as friends, good friends, in some cases. i don'tk now who came up with tis site, but whoever it was, thank you.
