Ok, I’ll bite. I say it has black stripes on a white background.
The answer you want to hear is 59 minutes.
The correct answer is… oh, forget it. I’m not doing 60 minutes of this. After TEN minutes you have 1024 amoebas (amoebae?) so after nine minutes you would have 512, or half of what you had at ten minutes,.

Well, you could
a) open the door but stay outside until you get it right, or
b) just turn them all on. Three for three.
What do I hope to accomplish? Am I aiming to turn on a particular light and leave the others off?

you were thinking way to hard on the ameoba one i said lets say at 60 min u have 1000 then 59min would be write but u have too much free time

the zebras idno theres no right answer probaly white with black stripes though

and the lights one is wrong you have to know which switch works each light bulb

This one's easy.. can't believe you guy's haven't figured it out yet. Let the 'All Knowing One' have a crack at it then haha
1. You turn one of the switches on for a few minutes.
2. You turn that switch off and turn another one on and then go into the room with the lights.

One light should be turned on. Touch the other two, whichever is warmer was the light you had turned on the first time. So you have one light turned on indicating one switch, you have a warm light indicating another switch, and the light that hasn't been turned on yet indicating the last switch.

So, what do I win then.. should I expect something in the mail?

I didn't need to think too hard. 1000 in 60 minutes is incorrect at a glance.
2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-512-1024 = ten minutes.
I don't have enough time on my hands to figure out a full 60 minutes of it, but it's obviously way, way off.
(1024 to the 6th power? Any math majors in the house?)

Did you want a particuar light? If so, you can't go back to change it.
