my Favourite father is Arthur Weasley... to bring up so many kids, with good cheer, and humour is a glorious thing. to treat Harry and any of their friends as though they are also part of the family is wonderful. I love Arthur's obsession with all things muggle... I love how he and Molly interact. I love his fatherly advice... never trust anything if you can't see where it keeps its brain. (sorry for the paraphrase - but I think you get my point)

I think Lucius Malfoy deserves a little bit of acknowledgement. He provided well for his family. He gave his son Draco every possible advantage. While I don't agree with the malfoy's family values.... I still think that as a father, he treated Draco well. I don't recall Draco ever complaining or having difficulties with his home life.

Hm, good question! I'd have to say Arthur Weasley. As someone mentioned, he raised so many children and they basically all have their hearts in the right place. They're a very normal, good family - not rich but manage to scrape by with few complaints. I also love Arthur's love for muggles and all things muggle related - it also shows he really accepts those different from himself.
